Up in The Clouds

Rented a car and headed out of Salta, as we decended up into the mountain to the salt flats, we noticed we were getting close to the clouds!!!

The amzing 7 colour mountain pass, quite a sight - almost seems unreal!!

I met up with a Canadian guy and a Swiss guy in Salta..........we decided to rent a car to go on a day trip to the surrounding area. Saw some amazing scenery, canyons salt flats, couloured mountains mountains above the clouds!!!

Salt Flats, Northen Argentina

These are the amazing salt flats, these are dried up salt lakes high up in the mountains!! All that is left is lots of salt!!! Rainfall gives it a beautiful crystal like appearence!!



This part has a few cms of water, hence the reflection!!


Its all salt!!!

Cemetery On A Hill, Ticara, Argentina

This is a quite wierd cemetery we came across in Ticara a town we passed through on our way to the salt flats in Argentina, its on a hill and all the caskets seem to be above ground!!
