La Paz, Bolivia

Took the bus from Cusco over the border to La Paz and i must say i was an experience i will never forget!!
Coming in at an altitude of almost 4,000 meters to a city build in a vally and with house gouing all the way up to the top of the mountains surrounding it!!
The streets are lined with hundreds of traders with blankets on thier back, yes blankets........they use tied up blankets to carry thier goods which they decide to sell on the side of the road!! They sell everything you can imagine on the side of the street!!
They even have a witches market!!!

Its a typical South American city.............totally chaotic, no order whatsoever!!! Probably the most chaotic i have seen over here!! Traffic everywhere, street traders on every footpath - their bus system is hilarious - it consists of thousands of minibuses that go to various parts of the city - the buses do not have the destinations written on the - the only way to know is to listen to some guy shouting the destination out the window!!

They also have shoe shine boys that look like little terrorists, they wear baseball hats and have thier faces covered with scarfs to aviod the social embarassement of their job!!A lot of them are actually students trying to earn money for college and cover thier faces to avoid being recognised by thier fellow classmates!!
Absolute mayhem!!!!

"No before i give you some chocolate, did you eat all your sandwiches?"
